• Length: If you have always wanted a long wedding dress and feel comfortable with that, go for it. Typically beach wedding dresses are shorter, however, either short, knee-length, or tea length. An ankle length is also a good compromise if you’d like a longer, more elegant style without the being inhibited on the beach by a very long dress and train.
• Form and Fit: Huge ballroom dresses with petticoats are probably not the best choice for a Hawaiian beach wedding dress. Tight, very form fitting dresses may also inhibit movement. Instead, go for body-skimming styles that accentuate your curves without restricting movement.
Color
When people initially think of a Hawaiian beach wedding dress, bright, bold color may come to mind. Although it’s perfectly acceptable to go with a colored wedding dress if you prefer, there are also many casual and beach styles that are available in white, ivory, and pastel shades as well.
